Ashley brings deep technical expertise and a grounded philosophy to winemaking. Before joining Marineau Mills,  she began her career at Joseph Phelps as a harvest intern in 1999, advancing through the ranks to Associate Winemaker in 2004. She then spent 15 years as the head winemaker at Joseph Phelps Vineyards where she oversaw production of the estate’s celebrated wines, including its flagship Insignia and Single-Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Backus.

Ashley’s curiosity and hands-on approach reflect her lifelong commitment to craft. As is often true of great winemakers, she’s also a gifted cook, having honed her skills at Chicago’s renowned Charlie Trotter’s. A Colorado native, she’s an avid skier, hiker, and adventurer - traits that serve her well in the vineyard.

A Certified Sommelier and vintner, Erin Di Costanzo has spent her career shaping how people experience wine. After leading acclaimed programs at PRESS Restaurant and ACME Fine Wines, in 2010 she co-founded Di Costanzo Wines, where her thoughtful approach to sourcing, production, storytelling, and hospitality continues to shine.

At Marineau Mills, Erin brings her expertise and warmth to every detail of operations and guest experience.

A natural problem solver, Emily combines business leadership with creative vision, drawing from experience at Apple, Morgan Stanley, Katerra, and Juno. Her background in finance and entrepreneurship within the construction industry provides the long-term foundation for Marineau Mills.

Sebastien’s exacting standards, technical acumen, and deep attention to detail provide a level of leadership in keeping with the roles he’s played at some of the world’s most influential technology companies.

Their connection to wine began in Napa, where weekends exploring vineyards sparked a lasting love of the region. Sebastien is the Chardonnay fan, and Emily’s never met a Cabernet Franc she didn’t enjoy. Sebastien and Emily founded Marineau Mills Vineyards in 2019 and today balance work with family life, running, and raising three young kids.
